In an operation targeting a cargo ship arriving from Brazil at Mersin Port, 350 kilograms of cocaine were seized from a hidden compartment beneath the ship's hull. The drugs, with a market value of approximately 1.5 billion Turkish lira, were reportedly planned to be removed from the ship using divers. Nine suspects were detained in the operation.

The Turkish Interior Ministry conducted an operation on a cargo ship arriving at the port of Mersin from Brazil, and found 350 kilograms of cocaine in 12 large packages, as well as diving equipment and underwater sea scooter supplies.
