After more than 60 years, the murder case of 9-year-old Carol Ann Dougherty has been solved in the United States. Thanks to DNA and a (direct) witness, William Schrader was identified as the perpetrator. "Although nothing can bring Carol back, now that the truth has been revealed, we can finally let her rest in peace," her sister said emotionally.
Carol Ann Doherty was riding her bike on October 22, 1962, to return some books to the library, when she stopped at St. Mark’s Catholic Church in Bristol to pray.
