GREEN, Ohio — A 9-year-old boy died after he ran into a street and was struck by a vehicle, authorities say.The Summit County Sheriff’s Office said Sunday the incident occurred at about 4:30 p.m. Friday on Peachwood Way in Green. The boy, identified as Sam Rife by cleveland.com/Plain Dealer news partner WKYC Channel 3, was taken to Akron Children’s Hospital, where he died of his injuries.
