Vienna is threatening another setback in air traffic: Ryanair presented the winter flight plan 2026 for Austria on Wednesday – and announced massive cuts. Four aircraft stationed in Vienna are being deducted, according to the airline, which affects around 80 jobs. In addition, twelve routes are to be cancelled.
Ryanair continues to reduce the number of flights at Vienna Airport. In the winter timetable, the low-cost airliner is again withdrawing aircraft and stopping routes. The Austrian Government is responsible for this.
