COLIMA.— At least eight elements of the Manzanillo Public Security Directorate were arrested and dismissed after being accused of allegedly collaborating with the Jalisco Nueva Generación Cartel (CJNG), leaking strategic information and facilitating criminal operations. The arrests resulted from arrest warrants for crimes of criminal association and misuse of information on public security activities, for events that occurred in 2023.
