At least thirteen Cambodians were killed and 71 injured in border clashes with Thailand, reported today Saturday the Cambodian defense spokesman. According to Thai media, border clashes began for the third day in a row on Saturday morning, after the Cambodian side opened fire on Thai troops. Cambodia’s Ministry of National Defence reported that the Thai Army expanded its military attacks on the Cambodian province of Pursat on Saturday.

536 schools in provinces bordering Cambodia have been closed due to the conflict. The Thai Ministry of Education also announced the temporary closure of 751 schools across the provinces.
