75-year-old man dead after Nowata County crash

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said a 75-year-old man died in the hospital after a crash in Nowata County.

A Nowata man who was involved in a June 4 wreck has died from his injuries.   The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 75-year-old Michael Ray Melton, Sr., died July 2 at a Tulsa hospital.   Troopers say Melton was a passenger in a 2015 Infinity QX60 when the vehicle was struck by a 2013 Ford F-150 driven by 40-year-old Derick Schondel of Talala.
