Woman dies after East Greenwich crash
EAST GREENWICH, R.I. (WPRI) — A Warwick woman has died after a crash in East Greenwich on Tuesday. Officers responding to the area of 655 Frenchtown Road around 1 p.m. found a car that had crashed into a guardrail. Police said the driver, identified as 72-year-old Loreen Corona, was transported to the hospital, where she died from her injuries. It's unclear what led up to the crash. A Rhode Island woman has died from injuries sustain in a crash that took place earlier this week. According to the fire department, at approximately 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Engines 1 & 2 and Rescue 2 responded to the vicinity of 655 Frenchtown Road in East Greenwich for a reported car vs pole.
