- Seven people have been hospitalized while no deaths have been reported, and the Salmonella strain involved is multi drug-resistant to several antibiotics.
- The CFIA advises consumers who purchased the products to throw them out or return them and to contact retailers if unsure, while the outbreak investigation remains ongoing.
