At around 11:10 a.m. on the 10th, a construction worker from another company nearby called 119 to report that a worker had fallen from a utility pole at a construction site for a new medical facility in Naha City. The 71-year-old male office worker from Yaese Town suffered a severe head injury and was transported unconscious to a hospital in the southern part of the main island, where he was confirmed dead about 13 hours later.
