NIGERIA, JUL 18 – Nigeria's Super Falcons maintained a perfect defensive record and will compete for a record 10th WAFCON title after their 5-0 quarter-final win over Zambia, coach Justine Madugu said.
- In their WAFCON quarter-final, Nigeria routed Zambia 5-0 at Stade Larbi Zaouli in Casablanca on July 18, 2025.
- With revenge in mind, the nine-time Super Falcons pursued a record-extending 10th WAFCON title after their 2022 bronze match loss to Zambia.
- After the opener from Ohale, Esther Okoronkwo had one goal and two assists in her first WAFCON start, Ashleigh Plumptre said `This wasn’t about individuals – it was about a collective effort`.
