As families prepare to enjoy the beautiful weather along the Gulf Coast, the Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality is warning of several beach advisories in place.

7 Mississippi Coast beaches are under advisories for bacteria. Here’s the list.

Seven beaches, including in Bay St. Louis, Pass Christian and Gulfport, are under water contact advisories after tests found high bacteria levels near the coast.
