Nepal's Tourist Office reported on Thursday that it is still unable to contact 517 foreigners, more than 24 hours after the storm that destroyed part of the northern border with Chinese Tibet. Among the untraceable tourists are 178 citizens of India, 65 of the United States, 53 of Ukraine, 51 of Malaysia, 35 of Australia, 33 of the United Kingdom and 25 of Canada.
The Nepal Tourism Board reports that two Dutch nationals have been missing since the sudden floods on Wednesday. The total number of missing tourists stands at 644.
