- Separately, the agency is probing a man's death in Turtleford RCMP detachment cells on Wednesday, alongside a July 24 arrest in Lower Sackville where a 63-year-old woman was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
- Indigenous leaders have demanded accountability, citing a "significant imbalance" in police encounters, while the oversight agency will issue final public reports within 90 days of concluding each investigation.
