6 out of 10 women arrive at college feeling unprepared to manage their period
A survey found that 64% of women who recently graduated from college felt discussions about periods could cause embarrassment or judgment.
The survey found that 61% believed more open conversations about periods would have made college easier, while 64% wished they had received more information beforehand.
Respondents wanted guidance on handling period emergencies and managing symptoms during exams, while 22% said period products were unavailable when needed.
Seventy-Six percent said an older sister, mentor, or trusted role model could have helped.
