Finance expects Mexico’s economy to grow between 1.5 and 2.5% in 2027. The government also estimates a fiscal deficit of 3.9% of GDP.
The budget proposed this Tuesday by the executive previews a growth of GDP for next year in a range between 1.5% and 2.5%
Edgar Amador, head of the agency, delivered the document this afternoon to the Chamber of Deputies.
"With this solid, it is estimated that the Mexican economy will grow between 1.5 and 2.5% in real terms during 2027, after an estimated growth between 1% and 2% in 2026," he said.
The Ministry of Finance expects GDP in 2027 to be lower than expected by 2026, inflation of 3.0%, an exchange rate of 17.9 pesos to the dollar and a deficit of 3.9% of GDP, details the Economic Package 2027.
