Two ski tourers were completely buried in an avalanche in Ischgl, Tyrol (Landeck district) on Tuesday afternoon. Their 31-year-old companion was unharmed and quickly located and dug them out. While a 28-year-old woman remained uninjured, a 56-year-old man was injured. The avalanche situation in Tyrol remained critical, and hiking trails in the capital city of Innsbruck were closed.
