In Mostar the jump from the bridge Stari Most belongs to the tradition. Whether with feet or head ahead - from about 20 meters it goes into the depth. The competition is supposed to exist for 460 years.
Thousands of residents and tourists attended the traditional jump competition of the Old Bridge of Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The event brought together 34 divers from various Balkan countries, who jumped from the 16th century bridge, from a height of 24 meters, to the Neretva River. This is one of the most important cultural and sporting events in the country and which preserves a tradition of more than 460 years.
The 460th Traditional Mostar Bridge Dives were held in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina. 34 athletes from Western Balkan countries jumped into the Neretva River. Evald Krnic won first place in the 'headfirst' category, and Igor Kazic won first place in the 'vertical dive' category. The Ottoman-era bridge was watched by thousands of people.
