A protest by religious leaders against the Trump administration’s anti-migrant offensive yesterday, in front of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detention center in Broadview, Chicago, resulted in the arrest of 21 protesters, while four local and state “unified command” police officers trained to “protect protesters and maintain public safety” – whose tactics generated controversy – were injured.
