On the 22nd, 82 years after the sinking of the evacuation ship "Tsushima Maru" by a US torpedo attack, which killed approximately 1,500 people, a memorial service was held at the "Kozakura Tower" in Wakasa, Naha City, by the Tsushima Maru Memorial Association (Representative Director: Seisho Higa). 355 people, including bereaved families and survivors, attended the service and prayed for the repose of the souls of the victims.
