Russian Independent Media Publish New Estimate of Russia's Losses in Ukraine

The tally uses Probate Registry records and verified names to capture delayed and court-declared deaths missed by official counts.

The estimate includes only officially confirmed deaths of Russian citizens. For the first time, it also includes soldiers declared dead or missing in cases where bodies were not recovered or identified.
