Unfit Meat Bound for Hospitals Seized in Piraeus Raid

Officials from the Attica Regional Authority have seized approximately 3.5 tons of meat and fish, some of it destined for public hospitals, after declaring the products unfit for human consumption.

The inspection of the team was followed by tracking in public sectors and hospitals where the audited company has contracts.

"I want to be absolutely clear: anyone who plays with public health will find us against them. There is no tolerance," stressed Nikos Hardalias.
