UP govt transfers 35 IPS officers in major police reshuffle
In a major rejig, Uttar Pradesh transferred 35 IPS officers across police commissionerates, districts and other wings on Saturday. The reshuffle includes changes in Gautam Buddh Nagar, Agra, Kanpur Nagar, Varanasi and Prayagraj, while nine officers promoted to the IPS from the state cadre were also given new postings.
