On Thursday evening, Saudi Geological Survey seismic stations recorded a 3.44-degree earthquake on the Richter scale, which occurred within the United Arab Emirates, only 11 kilometres from the Saudi border post of Al-Tahah. The earthquake was carefully monitored at 23.03:52 p.m., through the national seismic monitoring network, and had no direct impact on neighbouring Saudi areas, indicating that the affected area was under low seismic activity.
