According to the Ministry of Public Works (MOP) the investment in rural communes of the Biobío registered an increase over the previous year. While in 2024 the amount was $146 billion, the projected for this year is about $180 billion, that is, about $34 billion more. It is an amount that according to the Public Works portfolio represents 50% of the annual budget of the Ministry of the field for this year.
