Help means were called to the Salesian College in the Star shortly after midnight. Students were taken to the Holy Mary and to the Amadora-Sintra. Causes are yet to be determined.
Suspected food poisoning at the Salesian School in Lisbon sends 32 people to the hospital
Thirty-two people, including 26 French children, received assistance and were transported to hospitals overnight following a suspected food poisoning outbreak at the Salesian School in Lisbon, located in the Estrela district.
The origin of the food poisoning is still unknown. The school clarifies that the group comes from France and none of the people are students of the institution.
26 students from the Salesian College and six adults were transported to the hospitals of Santa Maria, Dona Estefânia and Fernando da Fonseca. It is not yet known what the origin of food poisoning.
