3 Teens Arrested In 'Despicable' Tarrytown Lighthouse Arson, Vandalism: Police
- Over the weekend, authorities in Westchester County apprehended four people in connection with arson and vandalism at Sleepy Hollow’s historic Tarrytown Lighthouse.

- Eighteen-Year-Old Elvin Ayavaca from White Plains and nineteen-year-old Richard Barrero of Harrison have appeared in Sleepy Hollow Village Court, where they were formally charged with felony counts of arson, burglary, and criminal mischief.
- A 17-year-old suspect facing juvenile charges appeared before the Youth Division of Westchester County Court, while authorities continue to search for a fourth 17-year-old individual who is anticipated to turn themselves in soon.
- Initial estimates put the total damage at approximately $100,000, including fire-related harm to the flooring on the ground level, broken windows, and the loss of valuable antiques. As a result, public tours have been halted, and an investigation is ongoing.
