More than 50k Worth of Lululemon, Alo Clothes Stolen Across NYC as Police Look for Suspects
Three suspects targeted at least eight Lululemon and Alo stores in Manhattan and Brooklyn, stealing over $56,000 in high-value athleisure apparel, police said.
- On March 12, 2026, the NYPD is searching for three people connected to robberies at Lululemon and Alo stores across Manhattan and Brooklyn between Feb. 7 and March 3, with losses over $56,000.
- The trio has targeted high-value, unmarked activewear for resale, with Hermann said, 'goal is almost always resale...you need to find a way to monetize what you're stealing.'
- Surveillance shows the group made increasingly large single-store hauls, including $21,000 stolen at the North Sixth Street Lululemon on March 3 and $11,000 at Union Square Lululemon on Feb. 22.
- Police released surveillance images and urged anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS or submit tips online; authorities say no injuries occurred and suspects remain unidentified.
- Amid repeated thefts, Lululemon calls retail crime an industry-wide challenge and says it is enhancing security with advanced technology and real-time monitoring, while collaboration with law enforcement partners has led to multiple arrests in 2026.
