Lions Expect to Have Rookie EDGE and Second-Year RB Back for Joint Practices
Wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown caught over 12 passes for 250 yards and multiple touchdowns during competitive joint drills against the Dolphins, highlighting Lions' strong preseason form.
- On Aug. 13, 2025, the Miami Dolphins and Detroit Lions held their first joint practice at the Detroit Lions Meijer Performance Center in Allen Park, Michigan, with a second session scheduled for Aug. 14.
- Following last week’s training with the Chicago Bears, Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel arranged these practices to dispel doubts about the Dolphins’ toughness.
- Through both 7-on-7 and 11-on-11 drills, St. Brown caught over 12 passes for more than 250 yards without a drop and scored multiple touchdowns.
