3-car crash, vehicle fire shuts down Route 100 in eastern Berks

A crash damaged three vehicles, causing a fire and closing Route 100 in Washington Township Monday night, according to emergency reports. Crews responded to reports of a multiple vehicle accident with fire at about 6 p.m. Initial reports said that occupants of the vehicles might have been entrapped.
