- A six-minute FBI video shows a person of interest about 5 feet 8 inches tall, stocky, masked, wearing a dark two-tone jacket and carrying a bag near campus around 2:00 p.m.
- Authorities detained an initial person of interest early Sunday and later released them after evidence pointed elsewhere, lifting the hours-long lockdown as Gov. Dan McKee, Governor of Rhode Island, requested more local police at schools.
- Amid ongoing searches, the FBI Evidence Response Team and federal agents recovered evidence near campus Monday, while the community mourned with a makeshift memorial at Van Wickle gates and planned the Community Service of Lament, Healing and Hope for Tuesday night.
