High-rise buildings are considered the invention of modern times. Now two scientists have submitted an investigation that a 2800-year-old palace in modern Ethiopia was multi-storey – up to 19 floors are conceivable.
Researchers found that the 2,800-year-old Grat Be'al-Gibri Palace in Ethiopia had extremely strong walls and could theoretically withstand 16 floors ᐅ TSN.ua (1+1 News).
