Police in Halifax have identified the victim of a fatal shooting in the community of North Preston, and are asking for the public's help with the investigation.

RCMP looking for information from the public after fatal shooting in North Preston

The RCMP/HRP Integrated Major Crime Unit is investigating a homicide in North Preston.  On November 2, at approximately 4:58 p.m., RCMP Halifax Regional Detachment and EHS responded to a report of shots fired near the intersection of Cain St. and Clarence St. in North Preston.  Upon arrival, officers found 28-year-old Jayden Tynes suffering from gunshot wounds. Tynes was transported to hospital by EHS where he later succumbed to his injuries.
