The police have arrested a total of 26 people during a protest against emergency shelter for asylum seekers in Apeldoorn. On Saturday evening, protesters threw fireworks at the police, obstructed traffic, and attacked a vehicle, among other things, the police stated. A 58-year-old man from Apeldoorn was arrested for assaulting a municipal enforcement officer.
