More than 20 years after the detention of Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, accused of planning the 9/11 attacks, the trial by a US military tribunal remains uncertain.
A quarter of a century after 9/11 – the worst terrorist attack the United States has ever experienced – five people are still awaiting trial for being the intellectual instigators of attacks that claimed the lives of almost 3,000 people.
