- Howell, a senior account manager for the Michael Jordan and Denny Hamlin-owned team, was released from jail after posting a $125,000 bond. She has been employed by the organization since 2021.
- Howell has retained attorney Harold Cogdell Jr. and is scheduled to appear in court again on June 16. Officials at 23XI Racing and NASCAR have not commented on the arrest or suspension.
