The Government of Canada is investing $2.2 billion to further modernize the Chalk River Laboratories, aiming to strengthen its position as a national centre for nuclear research, innovation and clean energy development. Philip Kompass is the Director of Communications for CNL Chalk River and he says this most recent injection of capital courtesy of the Federal Government is intended to carry on the work that has been underway for many years.
