In connection with the drug-related death of a 22-year-old woman, a 29-year-old man was on trial Wednesday at the Vienna Regional Court for murder by failure to render necessary assistance. The prosecutor accused the man, who was experienced with drugs and had consumed them with the young woman, of recognizing her life-threatening condition and yet failing to care for her: "He left her helpless and dying in the apartment."
After the death of a 22-year-old in favorites, a 29-year-old has to answer to court on Wednesday for murder by failing to provide assistance. In the first trial, the court declared itself not competent.
