Egypt, Jordan FMs Discuss Sinai Bus Crash, Facilitation for Jordanian Victims
- Twenty-Two people were killed and 28 injured when a bus carrying Egyptians and Jordanians overturned on the Dahab-Nuweiba road in South Sinai, Egypt, on Wednesday.
- The injured were taken to Sharm El Sheikh International Hospital, Saint Catherine Hospital, and Al-Fayrouz Medical Complex for treatment, with emergency response activated including the dispatch of ambulances.
- A technical committee was formed by Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly to investigate the causes of the accident and assess vehicle, driver, and road safety.

UAE offers condolences to Egypt, Jordan over victims of bus accident
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFa) expressed its sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims, and to the governments and peoples of Egypt and Jordan.
A passenger bus had a flat tire and turned over, and 22 dead and 28 injured were known.
The accident occurred on the road between the tourist towns of Dahab and Nuweiba.
