LA Grand Prix: Tara Davis-Woodhall shines in long jump as Sha'Carri Richardson wins season-opening 100m
Davis-Woodhall won the long jump with a wind-aided leap of 7.25m, buoyed by a tailwind of 3.3m/sec, but also produced a jump of 7.20m with an allowable wind of 1.2m/sec.
American long-distance runner Tara Davis-Woodhall jumped 725 centimeters at a meeting in Los Angeles with illegal wind support, in regular conditions she ranked first in this year's tables with a performance of 720. The Olympic champion performed two more jumps of seven meters in the competition, and even during them the wind blew against her back with a force greater than the permitted two meters per second.
