In the first round of the naginata team competition (5-person team), the team lost 1-2 to Matsuura (Nagasaki) in the first round of the final tournament. Before the final match, it was confirmed that they would not reach their goal of "reaching the top 8 or higher," but Captain Kana Hashimoto (3rd year) scored a point with a single, heartfelt strike, striking back.
