2026 Mercedes-Benz CLA price and specs
Orders are open for the new CLA, which adds Mercedes-Benz’s first all-electric version and a wagon set to return later in 2026.
Mercedes-Benz Australia confirmed the CLA Shooting Brake will return to local showrooms in late 2026, marking the brand's first wagon sold locally since the 2021 C-Class, with both 48V mild-hybrid and fully electric powertrains.
Built on the new Mercedes-Benz Modular Architecture shared with the GLB SUV, the wagon mirrors the third-generation CLA sedan and enables both internal combustion and electric drivetrains for the returning nameplate.
While official pricing remains unconfirmed, analysts estimate the Shooting Brake could start at roughly $70,000 before on-roads, factoring in inflation and the historical $1500 premium over the sedan, with a 455-litre boot exceeding the sedan's 405 litres.
Inside, the vehicle offers a full-width MBUX Superscreen and facial recognition, with an AI-powered Virtual Assistant integrating ChatGPT and Google Gemini, allowing drivers to save seating positions and system settings automatically.
Owners receive a five-year, unlimited-kilometre warranty from Mercedes-Benz Australia, with scheduled servicing required every 12 months or 25,000km for both mild-hybrid and electric powertrain variants.
