Dylan Palmer was at home in West Windsor when he received a call Monday afternoon that the Pittsburgh Pirates were selecting him with the 323rd pick (11th round) of the Major League Baseball Draft. Nixa's Wyatt Vincent selected in 11th round of MLB draft by New York Mets

The New York Mets selected Nixa’s Wyatt Vincent in the 11th round (343 overall) on Monday afternoon. Vincent, a Missouri State signee, was a three-sport standout for Nixa also playing key roles on the football field and basketball court.  The Missouri State signee was a force at the plate.
