On Wednesday a 60-year-old fell 200 meters above partly steep rock terrain in Vorarlberg. For the hiker every help came too late.

A 60-year-old female hiker died on Wednesday in the municipality of Dalaas (Bez. Bludenz). The woman from Bavaria slipped out and crashed about 200 meters above steep rock terrain, informed the police. Although accident witnesses immediately descended to the 60-year-old, all the help came too late. Also the ambulance could only notice the death of the female hiker. The three companions of the 60-year-olds were taken to the valley by helicopter.
