In the course of the ongoing raids against LGBTQ associations and activists in Turkey, an arrest warrant was issued against the journalist Tugba Tekerek. Tekerek writes for the Turkish edition of the Deutsche Welle and deals with LGBTQ topics.
Of the 21 people detained in Ankara as part of the investigation codenamed "My Family is Safe," decisions have been made regarding 20. Eight people, including members of the Kaos GL's executive and supervisory boards and journalist Tuğba Tekerek, were arrested. Seven others were released under judicial supervision.
