2 more convictions thrown out in 2020 plot to kidnap Michigan governor

- Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel called the ruling "linguistic gymnastics" and plans to appeal to the Michigan Supreme Court, maintaining the defendants engaged in a coordinated plan.
- The men were founders of the Wolverine Watchmen militia, which trained plot ringleaders Adam Fox and Barry Croft; Fox is currently serving a 16-year prison sentence for conspiracy.
