TIPTONVILLE, LAKE COUNTY, TENNESSEE, AUG 3 – Two men face accessory charges for aiding a suspect wanted for the targeted murders of four family members linked to an abandoned infant, officials said.
- Two men, Tanaka Brown and Giovonte Thomas, were charged with accessory after the fact to first-degree murder, allegedly assisting Austin Robert Drummond in the murders of four of his relatives.
- The victims were the parents, grandmother, and uncle of an infant found alive in a car seat, and their bodies were discovered 40 miles from where the baby was abandoned.
- Authorities said the attack was targeted by Drummond, who had a relationship with the family, and were still searching for him, considering him armed and dangerous.
