UNION COUNTY, N.C. – Two high school students in Union County are being recognized for helping to save a driver from a burning car. Mandi Tarr and Joella Meadows were driving on Unionville-Indian Trail Road on April 30th when they noticed smoke coming from the car in front of them. The girls pulled up next to the driver, told her that her car was on fire and that she needed to pull over. She got out right before the entire car went up in flames.…
