A 2,300-year-old gold ring decorated with red garnet has been unearthed in the City of David area of Jerusalem, reports Archaeology Magazine. The Israel Antiquities Authority (IAA) says the find, which dates back to the Hellenistic period, could help to better understand the customs of the period.
