[Nanjo] Sunflowers are in full bloom in a field of approximately 2,000 square meters across from the Nanjo City Hall. Members of the Nanjo City Agricultural Youth Club, comprised of farmers under 45, sowed 6 kilograms of seeds during Golden Week. After the peak blooming season, they plan to sow seeds again around August to coincide with the 23rd Ryukyu King Sho Hashi Half Marathon in November.
